This is the first year Sweetwoods has adopted a frost policy where frost greens have been created due to the evidence of air frost on the main greens.
As stated on a previous news feed post here within the members area, Allan Tait our Course Manager has explained the damage caused to the leaf of the grass plant when it is walked or driven on.
The green keeper on the day will make an informed decision as to when play can resume on the main greens.
In the meantime players are requested to keep to their allocated tee times even if frost greens are in force.
If players decide to wait for the main greens to come back into play they will forfeit their original tee time and will need to rebook when a tee slot becomes available.
You have my assurance that it is to the benefit of all members of Sweetwoods to protect our course so that it remains in top condition throughout the year.
Thank you for your co operation,
