Sweetwoods Park is a great venue for hosting all sorts of celebrations and parties. With ample parking, versatile function rooms, friendly staff and your own personal chef and events organiser, we can take the hassle out of any occasion.
We have helped people celebrate birthdays, christenings, wedding anniversarys, family celebrations and even the odd surprise party! Whether your party is for 2, 22 or 100, our focus is on delivering exactly what you want so that you can enjoy the function.
Carolyn Gravely (Events Administrator) will walk you through all of the booking options whilst Chef David can prepare a mouth-watering bespoke menu to suit your exact requirements.
Club members, including social members, receive function room hire free-of-charge as a perk of their membership, so if you are thinking of hosting an event here it may be worth joining the club as a Social Member.
The Bluebell Restaurant
Comes complete with its own private bar which makes this area ideal for medium sized groups such as societies to enjoy. To maximise space this room can also be joined to the larger Long Room to cater for the largest of parties and functions, holding up to 100 guests.
Modern, contemporary and with a view across the course, this open and informal setting creates a vibrant social atmosphere. Sink in to one of the luxuriously soft leather sofas in front of the fireplace and catch up on the latest competitions on one of our TV’s.
The Long Room
A large room with a view across the 18th green capable of holding up to 80 people on its own or 100 when coupled with the Chartwell Room, making it the perfect venue for receptions, dining, parties, conferences, presentations or any other events you may be planning.
The Conference Room
Ideal for corporate directors or management meetings due to the smaller nature of this area. It can therefore also be used for a private dining room and with access to the raised balcony provides a great view of the practice putting area, 18th green and the narrow 12th tee.
