The 2018 Presentation Dinner Dance

Our annual Presentation Dinner & Dance on Saturday 24th February is now available for booking. The menu for the Presentation Dinner & Dance is set out below. Please indicate your choice of starter, main and dessert on the booking form below. The cost of the evening is £35 per person and cheques should be made payable to SPGC Committee. Pre dinner drinks from 6.30pm with dinner commencing at 7.15pm, bar closes at midnight and carriages at 1.00am. The dress code is Dinner Jackets or

Thankfully the temperatures aren’t low enough for frost just yet, but as we move deeper into the autumn season, frost and the damage it can do to a course, is never far from my mind. An event from earlier this month… The Sweetwoods Seniors held the Dave Wells Memorial Cup on the 8th October, a stableford qualifier playing off the white and black tees.  Ros Wells was there to present the Cup that she donated in her husband’s memory. Members without a handicap

Recently there has been a significant increase in new members joining the Club, many of whom either, (i) do not have a handicap, or (ii) who are returning to playing golf and their previous handicap has lapsed. The process for submitting scorecards for handicap assessment requires 3 cards to be marked and signed by a member with a Sweetwoods Park GC handicap.
