Fraser claims dramatic win in Malaysia…

For those that didn’t watch it, absolute heartbreak for Soomin Lee as he double bogged the last to throw away the championship. A short-game master class from 37 year-old Fraser proved to split the two as he held a clutch putt on 18 for his par only to watch Lee miss the green in regulation and take 3 putts whilst finally on it. Lee lead from day one and this was only his second ever European Tour start. The Korean has a very bright future in the game however nerves took over him as I have seen club golfers finisher stronger the that of the tournament professional.

Fraser had a seven-year gap between his first in at the 2003 BMW Russian Open and his second at the Ballantine’s Championship, and returns to the winner’s circle once again five years and 302 days after that victory in South Korea.

Casey O’Toole hilton ace…

In his first ever European Tour start,  gets an ace on the 12th hole and wins one million Hilton HHonours points.

Casey spoke about the fact that he was meant to check out of his current hotel that night because he wasn’t sure if he would even be able to get into the event, let alone score a hole-in-one during it. Apparently he has spent so many nights at “awful” hotels over the last 3 years traveling around with his tour card but now he can book himself straight into a Hilton wherever he seems to end up.
