Club Activities
The Pro-Am was a great success, with 25 teams entering
from around the county. The weather was fantastic which made the scoring low.
It was run as always very professionally by Cliff Pluck, Secretary of the Sussex
Professional Golf Union.
The individual Pro’s prize was won by Kent Professional Jamie Harris and the
team event won by Sweetwoods Members ex Captain Bob Buckingham, Rodger Cornish
and Mike Walder with Professional Alan Tyson on 20 under par.
